SNAP, CRACKLE and POP!

i personal think that people would choose to have a blog instead of a diary is because maybe people think that other people feel and think the same as them...or maybe they have too mush time on their hands lol! no but seriously, i think people have a blog instead of a diary is because they might want people to comment on their life and the situations they may face each day?

i think the form of a blog to a diary is that a diary is more personal and that the diary owner doesn't want anyone to read it were as the blog owner wants everyone to read it! and i think that blogs are for everyone to read so the blogger would try to make it more funny, were as diary owners just right in it and THEY MIGHT NOT think about the funny side!

the author of the blog i found was a girl called "sexy-princess"!
she seems to have a lot of commenter's and it says that 30 people have signed up for updates of your page! she updates her pages every week!

THE BOOKS!

hello everyone, who is deciding to read this blog...

The first book i read was a book called "The Story of: The Battle of Gettysburg"
it was was written by 2 people who by the looks of it, does not have a life...these people are Colin Hynson and his Consultant: Dr Richard Tames. This book has a lot of historical facts about The Battle of Gettysburg. This book was written as a comic book. This book has many different features to it such as "An Independent America", "Slavery", "Arrival at Gettysburg" and "North vs. South" just to name a few!

The second book i read was called "KILLER PLOT" which was written by a male called Ian Bone. He has written many other books such as "Puppet Spy Babies" and "Fat Boy Saves World". "KILLER PLOT", is about a boy called a Tom who is pretty sure he has witnessed a murder of a famous author. He trys to help the police with anonymous clues and information!

The one thing that i liked from "The Story of: The Battle of Gettysburg", was that not only was it written in a comic book style it did have so interesting facts to it!
The one thing i liked from "KILLER PLOT", is the mystery to the book and that for once a teenager was able to assist in the capture.

I think the only think that could be improved with "KILLER PLOT" was that maybe it could be a bit shorter. that about it!

to tell all yall the truth i don't particularly like "short stories" if you will. i prefer the long stories such as the harry potter collection, umm and like the book "Da Vinci code" . i like a book that will make you want to keep reading and reading not a book that you could finish in one or two day you know what i mean!? and hopefully we don't have to read another short story because i already have 2 books going at once!

My Reading Info!

To be extremely honest, I really don't find reading books all that thrilling or fun! OK, sure I when I find a book that I really like I will read each night before I go to bed, like it was part of my religion lol. But usually, I can't find anything that grabs my attention. At school we are told to read a lot such as novels, text books, notes etc. I think that's why I kind of lost interest in reading. I would defiantly say I was a slow reader. Its not that I don't know the words it just that for some reason I do, but if I try to read faster I end up missing words or replacing words with others that are not in the text. Another thing about my reading is that I get side-tracked a lot. I guess that's why it takes me so long to read one book!

So I said at the start, I'm not too keen on the reading thing. When I finally find a book that I like, I will read non stop until 2am, but other then that it will take me a long time to finish just one simple book. In a couple of words I think I could sum myself up as a reader: slow, unmotivated, boring reader and lazy!

I can recall one reading memory and it taught me something in the process, and that is that Train Rides are the best time to read because besides from the exciting fast moving scenery which is basically green bushes and dead trees, the only other thing you can past the time is sleep or read. Now when my family and I were coming back from Darwin to Adelaide on the Ghan, I tried to watch the boring yet sometimes even more boring scenery. Then I stupidly tried to listen to bad quality radio on the Ghan, then I tried the old sleeping routine, were you sleep until you wake up and then get something to eat or drink and then go back to sleep. I could only do that for half a day. So last of all I tried the reading routine. I had brought 2 books with me, the 3rd and 4th Harry Potter books. I was already three quarters way through the third one so i finished that pretty fast. The more I read, the more interested I became. When it came time to start the 4th book, I couldn't wait. I started it straight after. I distinctively remember looking at my phone to find out that time, and it was a quarter to 3 in the morning. I decided to get at least some sleep. I woke about about two and a half to three hours later, and thought "What the hell", I went back to reading. And I'm glad I did because I got to see the sun rise that morning. I took a picture of it with my phone, and I still have it because it looks so beautiful! The train ride was only three days and I had just started the second. the rest of the second and third day i spent all my time reading besides from having breakfast, lunch and dinner and occasionally went out for something to munch or dink. The book has 38 chapters and about 15 minute's before we had to get off I had finished it! I had read 38 chapters in 2 and a half days, and that is still a personal best for me, and it still has not been broken!

I would have to say that my family has a on and off reading family. Well my Mum always has a book to read whether it is a magazine or a proper novel. My Dad does read occasionally but not as often as my Mum. He likes to read horror books and things of that nature. Were as my Mum likes to read books like detective types, true stories and crime. I personal like to read books like the Harry Potter series. Books that let you imagination run wild and free. I think i have read the Harry Potter series twice over and I cant eagerly await the next and most likely to be the last!

Some genres that I really do like are the fantasy books such as the Harry Potter series, as I have said. Books that have a comedy side to them, I love to read a funny book now and then. And from time to time I like to read a crime/mystery book. Some genres that I really don't like are the true stories. For some reason i just cant stand them. I cant see how my Mum can! and other genres I don't like are war stories and books that have lots of short stories in them. I don't like those books with lots of short stories in them because, you can basically read them in a day and that gets old fast! There is nothing that makes you want to keep reading and reading in those types of books!

A the moment i have a surprising 3 books going at once. the first book is the sixth book in the collection "Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince" by J.K. Rowling. My other book is a book we are suppose to read for school called the "Killer Plot" by Ian Bone. And last of all I have a James Patterson book going called "1st to Die".
So here is my reading information Miss C, enjoy!
